Paige is seriously so gorgeous and so easy to take photos of. She made my job so easy and I am especially in love with the black and whites from this shoot.

Yesterday I needed an adventure and I'm glad I have these photo loving friends, who were up to go. We hiked up R mountain, which is really not a mountain, but rather a hill, that we call a mountain. It was so good getting to be outside in the most beautiful spring/winter weather. I love spending time with friends laughing and just exploring. Nothing makes me happier than a camera around my neck, new places & the sweetest friends.

I read this quote this morning and it really left me thinking. Jason Reeves really has a way with words.

Winter is almost gone and hopefully so are my blues. I have about six weeks left at school before I leave Rexburg for a year. A much needed year. I am so excited for the things that are coming in this upcoming year but I am sad to leave Rexburg and the sweetest friends I have made, but my sole needs it. My plan right now is to live with my sister during the spring and summer. Then head to Europe for my study abroad. Both sound so good they make me smile just thinking about it. For now I am going to make a list of things to look forward to that will help me overcome this next month.
1. I can't wait to see my sister everyday. Like I can't explain it in words. Why is she so so good?
2. Getting to spend the warm summer days in my favorite place on earth, the Northwest.
3. Kylie and me, dance parties, selfie taking, water fights, laughing.
4. Getting real world experience at my Internship.
5. Cooking with my sister, cleaning her kitchen, its the little things.
6. Real restaurants and shopping and farmers markets and bike rides.
7. Saving every penny and paying for my way to Europe. that will be the best feeling.
8. Going to Europe...seeing the eiffel tower....going to Austria.
9. Spending time with my dad, just me and him, for my road trip from Idaho to Washington. I miss him.
10. Being healthier and happier.

I fell in love with Jackson, WY this past week. I walked through the most perfect town. I got to take pictures of my favorite mountains and be with the two sweetest girls. We ate the best dinner of our life and then headed back to Rexburg. It was the perfect day trip.

I'm trying to remember to be more appreciative of the time I get to spend in this place. I always miss it so badly when I am back in Idaho. Something about the Oregon Coast and the memories that come along with it are just my favorite. I love the way the misty damp air feels. I love the places that feel almost unexplored. I love the time I get to spend with family here. This place is always in my heart.

I probably have never said this about a certain year but 2013 was one of the best in my life.
I wrote on my blog last year that it was my year of change, but it was that and so much more.
I wanted to create a list about why it was so great.
- Going to a school that has completely changed what I thought education could be. BYU-I forever.
- Meeting some really inspiring people. People that I would have never came across if it wasn't for our that above mentioned school. I never thought I would create so many bonds with so many different extraordinary people.
- Learning so much about photography and having my passion shared by so many other people.
- Pinterest. Silly, I know but it was my place of inspiration when I felt down or stuck. Also sending and receiving pins is the best thing I have ever came across.
- My relationships with those closest to me from home were sometimes pushed to the back burner but I'm happy to know those people are always a text a way.
- My sister is the coolest person alive and so that makes my life great always.
- Sitting on my couch in my apartment and singing songs with my roommates. Nothing better than feeling comfortable and forming lasting bonds with those people.
- Yellowstone National Park & Mesa Falls, I can't explain my love for these places, Idaho is really so pretty.
- Being a part of the Scroll, BYU-I's newspaper. I may have cursed its name at points but I seriously made the best of friends and learned so many things about photography. I also got to shoot general conference so basically my life is forever made.
- Opening an email that told me I was accepted for a study abroad program next fall. I can't even explain my joy about this.

The Barths are my new favorite couple and I had so much fun freezing to death to get to take their first year of Christmas pictures as a married couple! I loved that they brought their pup Ruppert along and now I'm sort of obsessed with hounds. These three were the best sports and they are so very happy! So glad I met Jordyn and was able to capture this moment for them. Also I must add those ugly sweaters though!

Another visit to Oregon and another trip to Cannon Beach. It never gets old and it always stands to amaze me. I loved this day, it was one of the most beautiful days. It was even better to get to spend it with some sweet people. Cannon Beach will forever be a favorite for me.

This is one of my roommates and she is planning on serving a mission and asked me to take her pictures. When I met Raini I could tell there was something special about her and knew that she would be easy to live with. She is one of the happiest spirits I have ever met and the girl knows how to take a joke, which I like! So happy for her and her future!
