Having braces does not mean you do not need to smile.

Dear Padre

So dad, I'm sorry I'm not the best listener when it comes to obeying all the rules for my knee. I understand that you have also been there, and can relate to pain I feel. I really just wanted to say that I'm not going to play around with this knee thing any longer. Im going to listen to your advice and wear my brace constantly for the next few weeks. I'm really sorry, I wished I listened more.

Your an awesome dad, and I'm one of the luckiest daughters out there. Jen and I and all the boys probably never tell you enough but we are just so thankful for such a good, honest, loving, and caring padre.

a broken record

This year in tennis I hurt my knee. A simple mistake that has brought about the most pain, emotionally and physically I have ever experienced. Right now I have no patience to deal with a knee injury, I want to be outside, taking pictures, being with my friends. I feel like I'm missing out so much on my final weeks of senior year. Thats why today I finally had enough, I finally realized, after a long prayer, I have no control of my knee injury, things just happen, and that there is a lesson to learn behind this. I'm ready to be independent, that however just involves patience and setting a goal for myself. That goal for myself is to be able to walk across the aisle at graduation with no limp.

Emily is in love!

My darling friend Emily, is getting married! She let me take their engagements, well more like I forced her to let me take them! Her and TeeJay are so cute together, and you can tell that they really love each other. I was worried about my Em getting married at first but I know she can do it, she's like super woman! Emily you go prove them all wrong, with a long and lovely marriage!

Out of sight, out of mind.

It's sorta my motto.

My personal lesson these last few years concerning love, have been painful.

When he finally left, I forgot him, not really forgot, but didn't think about him.

However he's back. And I can speak wonders about how absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Lets hope that this time around, instead of getting hurt, I can put my head up

& move on like a big girl, like an Adult.

I have know these cuties mom for ever now. When I was little I would wish I had gorgeous red hair like Casey. Her girls were so beautiful, sweet, and calm. These days I can't get enough of calm kiddos. I also have to brag that the outfits Casey picked out for R & K are adorable, Old Navy has the cutest stuff for kiddos, and I think these outfits are just perfect for spring picture.

I have know clue if growing up includes losing those around us that we love. I have know clue that if in five years I will look back and think about them. I however do know that if they chose not to be apart of my life, it was their choice & if they decide they have had enough of not being around me, and miss me, that I will not reserve them a space. I'm tired of being hurt by the people I feel closest too. Its time to grow up & forgive, but not forget those people who left.
