its strange..

College is a strange, funny, cute, awful, amazing thing. It is strange how much I have grown to love Rexburg, Idaho. She has become a bitter sweet home for me. I think about the times I have had over the past year or so and could start crying. It has really been the biggest growing and learning experience ever. I have come to love my future career and talents. Come to love so many amazing people and am so genuinely happy for them and their bright and beautiful futures. I think back and really know that the good times far over weigh the times I was struggling. I know that I can never count all the ways it has changed me. But everyday I have a greater appreciation for friendship, family, love and learning. And its all because of my choice to move to this little town and go to BYU-Idaho. Its so bitter sweet to leave this place for about a year why I go and work for my trip to Europe but I know that this separation is for a good purpose and being gone will only bring me a greater appreciation. I truly will miss all my relationships I have built here and my little room in 114. But I'll be back for one more amazing semester Rexy, don't even worry. 

Logan, UT

I am all about stopping on road trips. It is so interesting to me to see places I would never see if I just stayed on the highway. So after a trip to Utah to see my best friend. I was traveling back and decided to stop and go visit the Logan temple. Seriously it blew my mind how beautiful it was. It also began snowing pretty hard and even though I felt worried about getting home, I looked around and was astonished by the world around me. It was so perfectly breathtaking. 

this past weekend

This past weekend a few friends and I headed up the highway looking for adventure. However sadly we went and found tons of deep snow. The weather was amazing though and it felt so good to spend time outside where there was no one around and we just got to be apart of the evergreens. I love these kinds of days so much!

R mountain

Yesterday I needed an adventure and I'm glad I have these photo loving friends, who were up to go. We hiked up R mountain, which is really not a mountain, but rather a hill, that we call a mountain. It was so good getting to be outside in the most beautiful spring/winter weather. I love spending time with friends laughing and just exploring. Nothing makes me happier than a camera around my neck, new places & the sweetest friends.

a list

Winter is almost gone and hopefully so are my blues. I have about six weeks left at school before I leave Rexburg for a year. A much needed year. I am so excited for the things that are coming in this upcoming year but I am sad to leave Rexburg and the sweetest friends I have made, but my sole needs it. My plan right now is to live with my sister during the spring and summer. Then head to Europe for my study abroad. Both sound so good they make me smile just thinking about it. For now I am going to make a list of things to look forward to that will help me overcome this next month. 

1. I can't wait to see my sister everyday. Like I can't explain it in words. Why is she so so good?

2. Getting to spend the warm summer days in my favorite place on earth, the Northwest. 

3. Kylie and me, dance parties, selfie taking, water fights, laughing. 

4. Getting real world experience at my Internship.

5. Cooking with my sister, cleaning her kitchen, its the little things. 

6. Real restaurants and shopping and farmers markets and bike rides. 

7. Saving every penny and paying for my way to Europe. that will be the best feeling. 

8. Going to Europe...seeing the eiffel tower....going to Austria.

9. Spending time with my dad, just me and him, for my road trip from Idaho to Washington. I miss him. 

10. Being healthier and happier. 

Jackson

I fell in love with Jackson, WY this past week. I walked through the most perfect town. I got to take pictures of my favorite mountains and be with the two sweetest girls. We ate the best dinner of our life and then headed back to Rexburg. It was the perfect day trip.
