Trip to Texas

Thursday, July 21, 2011

First off, sorry for the lack of photos from my vacation.
But I did take a few, those pictures include:
A sunset you can only see in small town in Texas.
And a sweet time swimming with the cousins.

I took a few weeks off from blogging, for the start of my summer vacation.

I went on a adventure.
I flew to Texas to visit my padre, and meet the new people in his life.
Her and her daughter are sweet, and just felt warm to be around.
I enjoyed the heat.
My Brother Steven, entertained us.
I played games at Northpark with my best friend M.
We ran around that place, until we both had no energy left.
I realized that our friendship,
was and is not one that will be highly effected by
miles or time apart.
Played basketball with my dads best friends families.
I went and saw 2 movies.
Harry Potter, blew Monte Carlo out of the mud.
Bought skinny wide leg jeans!
Jumped for joy, because of how much I love them.
Swam with my adorable cousins, Lea and Macaroni.
Went to eat dinner at my best friend, Shel's house.
Had homemade oreos,
and laughed with them at their cute inside jokes.
I smiled when I said goodbye.
Even to the one I wont see for two years,
good luck on your mission, T.
(This made me wonder where I will be in two years)
I cried when I got back to my dads house after an awesome weekend.
I hoped no one would notice.
Had a heart to heart with Padre about my future.
Choose the next morning to suck it up.
AND to continue with my dream, of living in the northwest.
Enjoyed the sunset on my last night there.
Played just dance with my new friends.
Got to the airport.
Watched my dad cry, as I made my way through security.
I flew to sanfran, and possibly sat by my future husband.
He had thick black glasses, and let me have the arm rest.
I Daydreamed.
Arrived to my new home.
And laughed the whole way home, with my sister.
at 1:30 am.
I really learned a lot these past weeks,
and I can definetly say,
I am different now,
than before I left.
So different I even read a book, just to read a book.
Holy crap, I think they call this maturing...

I hear people in my new neighborhood, setting off their fireworks.
& I sorta want them to be quiet.
I am grumpy.
I am hot, temperature wise.
I need an air condition.
I need to stop complaining.
I was happy when I noticed Burgerville now has
WALLA WALLA ONION RINGS,
this made me sorta happy.
I was happy when we went to super taco, and got super nachos.
I was happy when people left me alone today, however that rarely happened.
I was happy people can play the guitar, but sad when they left.
I am happy my sister can make me laugh.
I need to say a prayer.
I need to paint my nails.
I need to not be sensitive tomorrow.
I need a good visit home.
Oh and I need a nice cold drink,
maybe even an icee,
too bad its midnight,
or else I would be hitting one of those stands up.

Red bull, made me sort of hiper.
Enjoying my first soccer game, having a kick but time with everyone.
Hungry for a pina colada from Taco Bell, yes taco bell.

I failed & am still confused.
Watching HGTV while E played his guitar lightly in the background.
Pillow fight with E.
Starting to feel like summer 2011 will be awesome.

Cold summer nights, more like freezing.
Laughter at the dinner table.
dog walks.
adults swinging on swings.
yogortville with two fun kiddos, who like to meow?.
downloading new music that makes you want to dance.
straightening hair for the first time in a month.
I'm hoping that waiting along time with straightening my hair
will make me believe it has grown, and dang it worked.
Being sad that Dia didn't win the Voice, what a bummer.
Sister and brother inlaw came home from Mexico,
so I gladly let them take over the parenting again.
Jen and her random attacks.
Brother in law, awkwardly turning off TV,
so that all the "Kids" would leave the room,
so him and Jen could have alone time, priceless moment.
perfect sunsets.
booking tickets to go to Texas, yes I already miss that place.
texting old friends.
being the only one awake in a house of six, oh the quietness.
purple flowers, and delicate roses.
making plans for my visit home, which will only be seven days.
sitting here typing this with ky,
who is just chilling eating chocolate rice crispies.
dang she's lucky.

My niece Ky graduated from preschool. It was so adorable!
They sang songs in spanish
..and wowza she actually participated.
It was great to see how a few years
ago she would of never sung in front of an audience
and this time she was all about it.
Ky is growing up and getting her confidence, so cute!

I like to wear this Fadora a LOT..
Wearing it means I so do not have to do my fro. & that make me so happy.

I hope you had a lovely weekend. I will be posting pictures
from my road trip up to Washington later today..
